We are excited to bring to the world Alasta™, a propriety blend containing Aloeride®, which research has shown can be a potent immune-stimulatory ingredient (derived from Aloe Vera) that stimulates macrophage activation. (Macrophage function is important for wound healing and collagen production.) The inclusion of Alasta™ in our Immune Performance™ products has been shown to provide visible results in a matter of weeks. Though its precise pathway has not been charted, clinical testing demonstrates a positive, supportive relationship exists between the oral and topical use of Alasta™ and the ability to reduce overall inflammation in the body and sustain a more youthful appearance of the skin.

Orally or topically, the technology appears to stimulate cells in a way that results in a reduction of inflammation and an increase in elasticity. Whereas antioxidants address free radicals that are already created as a result of inflammation, our technology appears to address inflammation, the basis for free radical production and resulting damage. Less inflammation can result in less oxidative stress and free radical reactions and, therefore, less collagen cross-linking and breakdown, resulting in increased elasticity and firmness. Additionally, sagging skin results from elastin cross-linking and a decrease in new elastin formation. The lifted and more youthful appearance evidenced in consumer case studies indicates that our products can help increase elastin production and reduce elastin cross-linking.
